African Sapele - DRDN1003

Sapele is golden to reddish dark brown in heartwood with an interlocked grain which can be quilted wavy across the hardwood. The appearance of a finished Sapele hardwood floor is warm with deep reddish-brown colour tone and with a subtle variance of golden undertones. Sapele is uniformed with a deep lustre which will darken with age and oozes opulence. Sapele is also known as Mahogany from the Tropical African tree, not to be confused with Santos Mahogany, as a Tropical Hardwood it is sourced mainly from Africa/India.
